About CFA Great Lakes Region
CFA Great Lakes Region is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of pedigreed cat breeds through our engaging cat shows and events. Our mission is to foster a community of cat enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty and diversity of cats recognized by the Cat Fancier's Association. We provide a platform for cat owners and breeders to showcase their prized felines, while also educating the public about responsible breeding practices and the joys of cat ownership. Join us in celebrating the love for cats and the artistry of breeding.
As a non-profit organization, we are committed to supporting cat lovers in the Great Lakes region by hosting events, providing resources, and creating connections within our community. Our team is passionate about cats and dedicated to making each event a memorable experience for participants and spectators alike.
We are home to some of CFA's oldest, yet still active, show-producing clubs, notably Cleveland Persian Society (incorporated in 1924), and the Ohio State Persian Club (established in 1914 as Ohio State Cat Club, with name changed to Ohio State Persian Club in 1922).
In addition, we are proudly the home of The Cat Fanciers' Association's Central Office and The CFA Foundation's Feline Historical Museum, both located at 260 East Main Street, in Alliance, Ohio.
